Skateboard 01

Did this as a birthday present for a friend of mine. Since he is quite a skater I decided to take a deeper look on how a skateboard is put together. It was quite interesting to work with lots of references (like my own board) to archive a realistic look for each of the unique parts. It also was a good hard-surface and lighting experience for me. My initial goal was to recreate one of these "low-key-advertisment-shots" one usually sees in smartphone advertising.
I don't think I am going to UV-unwrap and texture the model - it was ment to be an abstract model of a generic skateboard.
